Hello,
My name is Mitch Fogelson. I am a PhD student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (MechE) at Carnegie Mellon University. I am conducting my research through the Integrated Design Innovation Group and the REx Lab and advised by both Jonathan Cagan and Zac Manchester.
I did my undergraduate and master studies at the University of Pennsylvania in Mechanical Engineering (MEAM) and Robotics (Robo) respectively. I worked as a research assistant for 5 years in the GRASP Labs under Prof. Daniel Koditschek.
Following that, I worked in Tokyo at Rakuten Institute of Technology as a Robotics researcher.
Outside of work I love traveling, hiking, learning languages, and eating and drinking amazing foods from around the world.
